Cleveland Middle School Pruebas de Instrumentos De Banda De Sexto Grado

- Dónde: Salón de la banda de Cleveland Middle School
(Sigan la línea de carro hacia la parte trasera de CMS. El salon de banda es su propio edificio en la parte trasera de la escuela)
El viernes 10 de mayo de 5 p. m. a 8 p. m. y el sábado 11 de mayo de 9 a. m. a 1 p. m., ¡tendremos a los estudiantes que probarán instrumentos para hacerse la prueba de un instrumento para el próximo año! Recomendamos que usted asista con el estudiante para que podamos ofrecerles el mejor instrumento para ellos. Pueden venir en cualquier momento durante las fechas y horarios indicados anteriormente. ¡Estamos muy emocionados de conocer a nuestros futuros miembros de la banda de sexto grado!

Cleveland Middle School Beginner Band Instrument Testing
Who: 5th graders wanting to be in Band in 6th Grade
When: Friday, May 10th 5pm-8pm or Saturday, May 11th 9am-1pm
Where: Cleveland Middle School Band Hall
(car rider drop off towards back of CMS. Band Hall is it’s own building at the back of the school)
On Friday, May 10th from 5pm to 8pm and Saturday, May 11th from 9am to 1pm, we will be having students try out instruments to get tested for an instrument for next year! We highly recommend they attend with you so that we can put them on the best instrument for them. You can come at any time during the dates and times listed above. We are so excited to meet our future 6th grade band members!
As a reminder, starting tomorrow, May 7th, no backpacks will be allowed on campuses for the remainder of the school year.

Despite some incorrect reports on some news broadcasts this morning, Cleveland ISD is still OPEN today.
Cleveland ISD will be open tomorrow as normal. We are aware of flooding issues on East River Road and Trail's End, however, our Transportation department is planning to take alternate routes to ensure every child gets to school. Please be aware that due to potholes on FM 1010, buses will be running late tomorrow.
Cleveland ISD will release a statement by 5PM today regarding whether the district will be open or closed tomorrow.
Reminder - The Houston Food Bank and Communities in Schools will be at the CISD Admin Building tomorrow, Monday, May 6th at 10AM to hold an emergency food distribution. No documentation needed.
Cars will circle around the back of the building before being guided into the distribution lanes. Please see the map below for more information on the car flow. There will be traffic cones and district officials on site to assist families as they arrive.
Another food distribution will be taking place at Santa Fe Middle School on Tuesday, May 7th.

We will be accepting donations from citizens and community members for our students and families in need. Donated items will be distributed on each campus.
Please drop off any and all clothes, shoes, socks, toiletries, personal hygiene items, cleaning products, etc. to the nearest CISD campus or to Central Office beginning Monday morning, May 6th. All donations will be distributed to families in need.
We will be accepting donations all week at each location from 7:30AM - 5:00PM.
Any Cleveland ISD family that has been affected by the floods and is in need of assistance or items, please email info@clevelandisd.org with student names, campus, and basic needs. We will forward your information to your campus. The campus can also be contacted on Monday for more information. Please stay safe.
Alternate bus routes are being taken to avoid high water roads, causing a slight delay to some of our bus routes this afternoon. Thank you for your patience.
Buses will begin arriving shortly on elementary and middle school campuses. As buses arrive, we will begin dismissing students. Parents are still able to pick up their students if it is safe for them to do so.
CISD Families - Please be aware that the district is currently considering an early release today. However, flood waters in certain areas of the district need to recede before we are able to get transportation to campuses in a timely manner. We will continue to keep you informed on any decisions that are made.
Due to flood waters expected to arrive on the San Jacinto river by Friday morning, Cleveland ISD will be CLOSED on Friday, May 3rd. Please be safe and let district officials know if you are in need of any assistance.

CISD Families - Please be aware that the rain is causing bus delays this morning. The district will be doing a second and third bus run throughout the morning and will accept late students with no penalty. As always, we encourage parents to make decisions that are in the best interest of their family.
