Please know that this situation has been addressed by Cleveland ISD earlier this week. Superintendent McCanless has personally spoken with the Willis ISD superintendent, and official complaints have been filed with UIL and DEC. Cleveland ISD does not endorse unsportsmanlike conduct and will continue to take appropriate action moving forward.

Cleveland ISD implemented a shared vision and mission with guiding documents last school year. Our shared vision was created by stakeholders for stakeholders, including parents and students. Throughout the school year, we will be surveying our families on three occasions to measure our progress in the implementation of the shared vision and determine areas where continuous improvement is needed. Additionally, this survey will provide a high-level overview of our families' perceptions regarding their overall experiences in CISD. Open-ended responses at the end of the survey will allow you to provide more specific information that may not have been asked or addressed in the questions listed in the survey. If you have students enrolled at multiple campuses, please complete one survey for each of the campuses your children attend.
The BOY survey is open September 6-27, 2024. Data collected in this survey is anonymous, and we ask for and appreciate your authentic insight and feedback. The district will be using the survey results in October to reflect on our progress and make any adjustments to our implementation plans. Please take the time to participate in our survey. Your feedback is critical in our continued pursuit of a shared vision for all stakeholders, especially our students. Thank you in advance for your time and continued commitment to Cleveland ISD.
